Blessings to you.
I’ve finally gotten around to getting another card up here. This one’s for a friend going through a rough time. This is an early attempt at watercolor in both background & foreground. I used Ranger inks & pearlescent paints bring in the shimmer. The image is from Unity Stamps. Love their stuff. The patterned paper is from my stash & the greeting is generic. Gonna do this more often. It was a joy to do. Challenges I’ve entered are:

Hopefully, I’m getting back into the swing of things. Lord knows, there have been enough events that warrant a little card of encouragement. So here’s one for my co-worker, who recently lost her grandmother.
I used a little something old & a little something new in this card. I used my new toy – Tim Holtz Stamping Platform. That was such fun. Just thinking about it makes me want to drop my keyboard & go make another card. I also used my old standby ink – Tim Holtz Distress Inks. I find them so easy to work with & all the colors are so fun. (Haven’t tried the distress oxides yet – can’t wait.) The paper, too, is some that I’ve had around for an eon. Love the swirly design.

So, yeah, it’s been a while. Good to be back though. Here’s a card for one of our volunteers. I just want to encourage him since he’s had some health setbacks and is currently in rehab.
I used a stamp set from Stampin’ Up that is new to me and I used Ranger Inks to distress it a bit. Hope you like it

As I mentioned in my last post, we presented thank you gifts to our co-pastors in this morning’s service, so I made a couple of cards for the occasion. Here’s the 2nd one. I kept the same sentiment, since we were honoring the same occasion. The sentiment came from an Illustrated Faith Kit.
Your Next Stamp Sketch & Color Challenge – I attempted to use both the sketch & the colors
We presented thank you gifts to our co-pastors in this morning’s service, so I made a couple of cards for the occasion. Here’s the 1st:
The “thankful for you” came from an Illustrated Faith kit. The rest were spare parts. (I like using up my scraps).

Ok. Got another one for you. This is for our assistant principal at the academy. She is my main go-to for Spanish speaking calls & I depend on her a lot. I don’t tell her that nearly enough. Not only is she an incredible help to me, but she has a heart of gold.
The stamp & the U are from Stampin’ Up. Everything else is scraps.

Here’s a new card for ya’ll.
This is a card for a very special police officer who works with us at Shepherd. He is in the unique position of being a police officer & a pastor. I am so appreciative of his passion & his commitment to our neighborhood. And I truly appreciate the joy he brings with him wherever he goes.
The stamp is from Club Stamp; I used some distress ink from Tim Holtz to fade the edges & the paper was scraps I had laying around.
